New Jersey American Water Lifts Mandatory Odd/Even Outdoor Water Advisory in Monmouth and Ocean Counties

CAMDEN, N.J. (SEPT. 10, 2020)New Jersey American Water has lifted its mandatory odd/even outdoor water advisory for its customers within Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Recent mild weather conditions along with lessened demand have lessened the strain on the water system and residents can resume more frequent irrigation if they chose. An alert was posted to the company’s website earlier today, informing customers that the current restriction has been lifted and to resume water usage as normal.

“We thank our Monmouth and Ocean County customers for their cooperation with the odd/even outdoor water advisory and remind all customers to continue to use water wisely all year long,” said Carmen Tierno, Senior Director of Operations for New Jersey American Water’s coastal region.

Additional tips and information on wise water use are available on New Jersey American Water’s website at www.newjerseyamwater.com under Water Information.
