Egg Harbor City Municipal Consent Hearing Scheduled for June 23, 2022

On September 30, 2021, New Jersey-American Water Company, Inc. (“NJAWC”) filed a petition with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (“Board”) pursuant to N.J.S.A. 48:2-14 and N.J.A.C. 14:1-5.5, and such other applicable regulations and statutes, to approve a municipal consent ordinance granted to NJAWC by the City of Egg Harbor (“City”) pursuant to N.J.S.A. 48:13-11, and N.J.S.A. 48:3-11 to 48:3-15, to construct, lay, maintain and operate the necessary wastewater treatment facilities, water and wastewater mains, pipes and appurtenances throughout the City and to provide water and wastewater services to the City.
