New Jersey American Water Invests 10 Million Dollars in Middletown Infrastructure

CAMDEN, N.J. – OCT. 7, 2022 – New Jersey American Water will replace over four miles of aging water main in the Leonardo section of Middletown starting next week. The company will upgrade the aging cast-iron water lines that were installed as far back as the 1930s with new 6- and 8-inch ductile iron main along all or portions of the following streets: Appleton Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, Bay Avenue, Bellevue Avenue, Brevent Avenue, Broadway Avenue, Burlington Avenue, Center Avenue, Concord Avenue, Florence Avenue, Franklin Avenue, Hamilton Avenue, Monmouth Avenue, Raritan Avenue, Ridgewood Avenue, Thompson Avenue, Vanderbilt Avenue, Viola Avenue, and Washington Avenue.
